COVINGTON—Marx Herzog, 76, who for 34 years was in the clothing' and dry goods business, died Friday at 11:50 a. m. at St, Elizabeth's Hospital in Danville, Ill: In failing health for two years, lie lead been a hospital patient 10. days. Barn in Waynetown on Jan. 26, 1878, he , was the son of Morris and Mary Beed1e Herzog. In 1907, he married --the former Jessie Bright, who died" `'" 1949. In 1950 he married Jessie Wells. Mr. Herzog was a member of the Fountain Lodge, No, 60, F&A of Covington. He Is survived by his widow; one sister, Mrs. Betty Plant, Goshen; two nieces and a' nephew. Services will ire held at 2 p, m. Sunday, in the Bodine and Shelby funeral home at Covington with the.. Rev. Walter Darner officiating Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
